Log in failed. Database group not

The customer receives “database group is not active” when trying to startup Cyrious Control.

Severity

High.User is down.

1) One or more of the database groups inside of database administration in the SSLIP

settings for Control is marked as inactive and needs to be checked.

2) The protocol settings for SQL server on the client workstation isn't set, and needs to be configured for TCP/IP, Named Pipes, and Multiprotocol

1) Open the Cyrious SSLIP from the Cyrious server workstation and browse to the “database administration” group. Check settings for both the “Control System Data” and “Store Data” groups. Make sure both are marked as “active” by looking to the right-hand side of each group area selection.

*Restart the sslip*

2) The protocol settings can be set by typing “cliconfg” inside the 'run' command in windows, and this is where you manually change these settings. All other protocols should be removed from the list if any others are already enabled.
