Explanation
Something has broken the link between the Cyrious program and the Cyrious data.
Resolutions (SMS V8.60
Steps to fix (1)
- Shut down Cyrious everywhere and close the SSLIP
- Attempt to replace the MDB files from a backup.
If no backup - contact tech support for all following sub
- Copy over new MDB files from the Imp Drive
- Replace the MDB files one at a time by renaming the old ones and pasting in the new ones
- Test by attempting to open Cyrious after each replacement
Steps to fix (2)
- Download the Jet401SP8_9xnt.exe from the FTP
- Run the Jet….exe
- Test
Steps to fix (3)
- Reinstall Cyrious
- Test
Steps to fix (4)
- Navigate to the SMS folder
- Right click on the SMS.exe
- Select the Compatability tab
- Uncheck the Compatablity Mode check box
Steps to fix (5)
- Get assistance from Dev
- Possibly set-up Cyrious on different computer so customer can keep working
Resolution (SMS 8.91)
Steps to fix (1)
- Remove Settings key from the BDE key in the registry
- Open the BDEAdministrator.exe
- Navigate to Configuration>Drivers>Native>PARADOX
- Change LEVEL from 5 to 7
- Click the Apply button
- Start the SSLIP
Steps to fix (2)
- Note which release of SMS 8.91 they are running
- If older than 8.91.1506.2902 update to newest release
