Explanation

Something has broken the link between the Cyrious program and the Cyrious data.

Resolutions (SMS V8.60

Steps to fix (1)

  1. Shut down Cyrious everywhere and close the SSLIP
  2. Attempt to replace the MDB files from a backup.

If no backup - contact tech support for all following sub

  1. Copy over new MDB files from the Imp Drive
  2. Replace the MDB files one at a time by renaming the old ones and pasting in the new ones
  3. Test by attempting to open Cyrious after each replacement

Steps to fix (2)

  1. Download the Jet401SP8_9xnt.exe from the FTP
  2. Run the Jet….exe
  3. Test

Steps to fix (3)

  1. Reinstall Cyrious
  2. Test

Steps to fix (4)

  1. Navigate to the SMS folder
  2. Right click on the SMS.exe
  3. Select the Compatability tab
  4. Uncheck the Compatablity Mode check box

Steps to fix (5)

  1. Get assistance from Dev
  2. Possibly set-up Cyrious on different computer so customer can keep working
Resolution (SMS 8.91)

Steps to fix (1)

  1. Remove Settings key from the BDE key in the registry
  2. Open the BDEAdministrator.exe
  3. Navigate to Configuration>Drivers>Native>PARADOX
  4. Change LEVEL from 5 to 7
  5. Click the Apply button
  6. Start the SSLIP

Steps to fix (2)

  1. Note which release of SMS 8.91 they are running
  2. If older than 8.91.1506.2902 update to newest release
