Explanation

When clicking on the explorer tab, you get an error that says “Invalid Pointer”. From this point, the system locks up and you must task manager close and restart. This is a result of the customer resizing the view of one of the columns in the explorer window

Resolution I
  1. Download invalid_pointer_error_fix.reg to desktop
  2. Double click on it
  3. Test

Resolution II

  1. Click Start
  2. Click Run
  3. Type in Regedit
  4. Drill down to HKEY_Current_User
  5. Drill down to Software
  6. Drill down to Cyrious Software
  7. Drill down to SMS
  8. Drill down to User Options
  9. on the right hand search for ExplorerCustIndexes and ExplorerOrdIndexes
  10. Right click on each of them and delete
  11. Restart Cyrious on the affected computer
