When previewing a Crystal Report, the connection to the database is closed when the report is finished generating. Due to the way Quick Reports are previewed, the connection is dropped before the preview is shown.

===== Possible Root Cause(s) =====



In Control version 04.50.1101.2101, a change was made to Crystal Reports to drop database connections when the report is finished generating a preview. The connection is being dropped when the report is requesting data.



===== Resolution =====



1. Add this option to the Control_Options.txt file:



LogOffCrystalReports=0



2. Restart Control

1. Update the customer to version 4.50.1102.0301 or later.
