Until you settle your credit card transactions, the transaction is not finalized and the payment won't be sent to your bank. Therefore, it is important that you settle the batch every day. The easiest way to do this is to add it into the Daily Closeout procedure.
Click on Setup | Reporting Setup.
Expand on “Reports in Quick Reports”.
Expand the “Close Day - Reports & Close” quick reports group.
Click on “Daily Settlement of Credit Card Batch” (usually the first item).
Edit this item, ensure the “Show on Menu” option is checked, then save.
Close the Report Menu Setup window.
