These are the steps to remove any closeout in SMS. It does not matter if it is a Day, Year, Royalty or anything else. BUT this process only removes the last closeout, you'll need to repeat the steps if you want to remove multiple closeouts even if there were multiple done on the same day. For instance, if you closed the day, the month, the year, then closed the month again afterwards on 12/31/12. Then you would need to repeat these same steps 4 times to remove the last 4 closeouts. When you attempt to remove a closeout the program will display the closeout type (day, month, year) and the actual date and time of the closeout that will be removed. If you find that you do not wish to remove the closeout click Cancel. After you have removed all unnecessary closeouts you can re-do your closeouts however if you have already entered business for the new year those financial amounts will appear in your year-end reports.

1. Click on Mgmt
2. Click on Un-Closing
3. Click on Unclose Day to remove the last closeout.
