What is the optimal size for my company logo in Control?

Very high quality images take a considerable amount of time to send to the printer and can dramatically slow printing. For this reason, Control resizes the image to a size that is appropraite for the size allocated to the logo on system reports.

You can find the optimal image size in Control:

  1. Click on Setup–> System Setup
  2. When System Setup opens, you should alredy be on the address and logo screen.
  3. At the bottom of the screen. locate the store logo field.
  4. To the right of the logo is blue text that asks, “Would you like to know more about optimal image size? Click here.”
  5. Click on that link and the following information will appear:

This information may change in subsequent versions of Control.

Note: It is recommended to create your logo with a resolution of 92 pixels per inch. This can be done through your preferred graphics application such as Photoshop or Illustrator. The reason for this particular resolution over others is that Crystal Reports uses this resolution natively, meaning that upon inserting your logo into the report Crystal will auto-resize and adjust your graphic to be that resolution.
