Explanation
This is caused by a corrupted report(s). On occassions, the report will work on one computer, but not another.
Resolution 1
- Get a copy of the correct SMSSystemConfig.mdb file from I:\Implementation\SMS\SMS v8.6 and the correct store type
- Close down the SSLIP
- Rename to old SMSSystemConfig.mdb file to (datetime)SMSSystemConfig.mdb
- Paste in the new SMSSystemConfig.mdb
- Test to ensure it works properly
Resolution 2
(will use Invoice as an Example of the procedure)
- Get a copy of the report from I:\Implementation\SMS\SMS v8.6 and the correct store type and report
- Create a new folder in the SMS folder on the server
- Name it Customized Reports
- Paste in the rpt
- Create a new Report by navigating to Mgmt>Set-Up>Reporting Set-Up
- Drill down to Individual Menu>Order (Invoice) Reports
- Click Add
- Select new Crystal report
- Name as the original invoice is named
- Select the On Drive Browse button
- Navigate to the new report
- Update the Options accordingly
- Click Save
- Highlight the original report
- Click the Edit button
- Uncheck the Show on Menu checkbox
- Click Save
- You may have to click OK several times for it to take
